Accuro 50 Charity Walk
The Walk
Genmar will be walking the final section of the Accuro50 route to raise money for Accuro.
The final section is around 13 miles from Thaxted to Saffron Walden and should take around 3 to 4 hours in total.

Who can attend?
Anyone!
The more the merrier! The Genmar team will be bringing along friends and family.
What date is the walk?
Saturday the 27th of August 2022.
What time will the walk start / end?
Start time – 10:00
Finish time – around 14:00
Where do we start?
The walk will start from the St John the Baptist with Our Lady and St Laurence church in Thaxted. There is a car park behind the Swan Hotel for those wanting to park in Thaxted.
Where does it end?
The walk will end at St Marys Church in Saffron Walden.
Do I need to complete the whole walk?
No! Do as much as you can, if you need to stop at any point we can arrange for you to get back to the start.
What to wear?
Please consider that this is a long walk, appropriate clothing, hats and sun cream are recommended. The paths are a mix of tarmac road, tracks and field paths so decent footwear is a must.
Transport
If you would like a lift from Saffron Walden to Thaxted please meet us at the Swan Meadow car park in Saffron Walden at 09:30. This way you can leave your own car in Saffron Walden where the walk will finish.
